My name is Sarita Harbour and I'm the owner of the popular self-reliance and homestead website An Off Grid Life.
Nine years ago my husband Dan and I left the city to live, work, and homestead off the grid in Canada's subarctic Northwest Territories where I also homeschool our two youngest of seven kids.
